Jesús Morán Fernández (right) has been appointed as new chief officer at the Lake Chapala branch of the state transportation department, Movilidad Jalisco.
An 11-year veteran of the agency, he previously served as the lead patrolman in Jocotepec.
He replaces predecessor José de Jesús Vargas Michel, who has been promoted in rank to regional commander.
