Over 900 people have signed up to walk, jog or run for health in the Chapala branch of the second annual Carrera Nacional Moviendo a México por tu Salud, scheduled for Sunday, November 13 at different locales across the nation.
Participants will take off from the esplandade outside the City Hall building at 7 a.m., heading west out of town along Avenida Hidalgo. The five-kilometer route goes as far as the Telecable office in Riberas del Pilar before doubling back to the finish line. Walmart is the turn-back point for the full 10-kilometer course.
The roadway stretching from Chapala’s main intersection to the Libramiento will be closed to traffic while the race is under way.
