The body of U.S. citizen Jason Eric Bailey, 53, was discovered early Thursday, November 7, in the rental home he occupied in the Hamacas Country Villas condo complex in San Antonio Tlayacapan.
The corpse, dressed in pyjamas and resting face down on his bed, was found by his cleaning lady and the Hamacas groundskeeper. Police investigators called to the scene presume he died of natural causes after detecting no visible signs of foul play. His tiny pet Chihuahua was found curled up next to the body. The dog is now in the care of neighbors.
At press time authorities were seeking information to contact Bailey’s next of kin.
