Rotarians pitch in to supply village with water

Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club has partnered with the Poncitlán government to provide a reliable supply of potable water to inhabitants of Ojo de Agua, a tiny lakeshore settlement located about halfway between San Juan Tecomatlán and Mezcala de la Asunción.

Club members joined Poncitlán Mayor Luis Miguel Nuñez López and government staff on Tuesday, January 7, to kick off  the first stage of the project that will eventually benefit 60 families residing in the marginalized community.
