Lake Chapala Society implements Reaching Out service in response to Covid-19

The Lake Chapala Society (LCS) is doing a remarkable job of staying abreast of the evolving Covid-19 outbreak in Jalisco while adjusting its services and programs to dovetail with recommended health safety practices.

pg16While the gates to the organization’s campus have been temporarily closed in compliance with Governor Enrique Alfaro’s #StayAtHome advisory, LCS officers and staff remain busy behind the scenes to continue serving the interests of members and the community at large.

As they keep close tabs on breaking news about the pandemic, the board has quickly crafted a new outreach program to help safeguard the wellbeing of lakeside’s foreign populace. In a bulletin sent out to members on Sunday, March 22, President Carole Wolff explained the motives of the initiative.
