Cruz Roja Chapala has gratefully acknowledged recent donations of special gear to protect the clinic’s staff and patients against Covid-19 infection.
On April 30, Christian Robertson and Cobra Kruger, founders of Bambu Warriors, delivered 45 reusable face masks with activated carbon filters, sufficient to supply the entire clinic staff.
The latest gift is a sanitation tent installed at the entrance to the facility on Thursday, May 7 courtesy of the Chapala government, the local hot sauce manufacturing company Productos SANE, and private donor Ricardo Aldrete. The portable device has the capacity to disinfect four to six persons per minute as they enter the clinic with a long-lasting spray.
