Cruz Roja Chapala Administrator Víctor Javier Benitez and board president Yolanda Martinez (at left) presented a certificate of appreciation to Dona Hall and Martha Cervantes in grateful acknowledgment for the generous cash donation received from residents of El Parque Condominiums.
Hall organized the benefit that brought in more than 36,000 pesos to help sustain local Red Cross operations through the Covid-19 crisis while normal fund-raising activities remain on hold. El Parque householders challenge other lakeside homeowners associations to follow their lead to match or exceed their contribution to keep the clinic and its emergency services afloat.
