Lake Chapala Society beefs up Covid measures

Adhering to the latest protocols issued January 10 by Jalisco’s Board of Health, the Lake Chapala Society (LCS) is toughening safety precautions required for attendance at its upcoming Concerts in the Park events.

pg24“For LCS, the well-being of the entire community is a priority. For this reason, we have always tried to follow state of Jalisco protocols to reduce the risks related to Covid,” explained Executive Director Luis Pacheco on Wednesday, January 12.

“In compliance with the revised provisions announced this week, we will reinforce our preventive measures and follow the new protocols that have been identified for January and February.  It will therefore be mandatory to present a proof of vaccination certificate or a PCR test with negative results for attending concerts during this period.”

To facilitate the process, LCS allows interested persons to register their proof of vaccination documentation once, to be kept on file for future concerts and major events. The online format is posted at http://form.jotform.com/22011714848378051 and may be accessed by following the link on the organization’s Facebook site.

Negative PCR test results must be obtained within 48 hours prior to each event. Be advised that health authorities are reporting a shortage of laboratory supplies for Covid exams.
