Chapala have easily qualified for the knock-out stage of the 2022 Copa Jalisco soccer tournament, after winning their Region Sureste group.
The top-ranked team in the preliminary stage was Puerto Vallarta. Chapala was defeated in last year’s final by Cihuatlán, which also qualified as one of 32 teams that will contest the knock-out rounds of the competition for amateur teams representing Jalisco municipalities.
