Former Guadalajara Reporter columnist Judy King relinquished 12 inches of her flowing locks to the scissors of Ajijic beautician Yolanda Martínez this week.
The proprietor of Estetica Yoly’s Unisex at Plaza Bugambilias collects foot-long hair trimmings donated by clients that she sends to contacts in the U.S. who fashion wigs for patients of cancer treatments that leave them bald.
She still needs a few more contributions to package up a bundle of manes for shipment up north.
