Saturday, September 6, has been set for the symbolic unveiling of the San Antonio Tlayacapan mural beautification project. The inaugural event will take place at the town’s central plaza at 5 p.m. A cultural program will feature performances by the Ixtlahuacán de Membrillos Ballet Folklórico and Coro Redes y Cantos.
The murals wrap around the exterior walls of the Escuela Primaria Cuauhtémoc, located at the corner of Calles Independencia and Ramón Corona.
