Lakeside DayBreak Dementia Support will focus on the role of caregivers at the group’s second 2025 public awareness program. The presentation will take place on Sunday, October 5, 4:30 p.m., at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Calle San Lucas 19 in Riberas del Pilar.
The original “To Whom I May Concern” reader’s theater, presented last April, featured a cast of five individuals who created and performed a script to tell their stories about coping with early-onset cognitive impairment. This time, care partners will be the ones sharing experiences of how their lives are affected by assisting loved ones diagnosed with dementia and going through the stages of memory loss. Alicia Knox again participates as the program’s scribe and facilitator.
