With the 2025 edition of Feria Maestros del Arte opening in just four weeks, it’s the perfect time to explain why organizers describe the event as “A heart show, not just another art show.”
Founded in 2002 by expatriate collector and aficionada Marianne Carlson, the Feria’s mission is to preserve and promote Mexican folk art. Its purpose is to support the creation of unique art forms and the culture that produces them by providing artists with a venue to sell their work to galleries, collectors, museums, and the public. The event also helps raise regional and international awareness about the value of these endangered arts.
The Feria will take place Friday through Sunday, November 7–9, at the Hotel Real de Chapala, located on Paseo del Prado in lower La Floresta. The hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all three days.
