The health of Covid-19-infected President Andrés Manuel López Obradoris “evolving favorably,” Deputy Health Minister Hugo López-Gatell reported Thursday.
Describing his boss’ condition as “practically asymptomatic,” López-Gatell said the president only experienced a “slight fever and headache” in the first two days of the illness.The deputy minister and chief coronavirus spokesperson for the federal government said he has been communicating frequently with López Obrador, who is keen to leave his confinement and return to work.
