Mexican banks and financial institutions subject to supervision by the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) are scheduled to suspend operations on the following days during 2024:
New Year’s Day, January 1
First Monday of February, February 5
Third Monday of March, March 18
Good Thursday and Good Friday, March 28 and 29
Labor Day, May 1
Independence Day, September 16
General bank holiday, October 1
Day of the Dead, November 2
Revolution Day, November 18
Bank Employees Day, December 12
Christmas Day, December 25
Most Mexican banks are open for business Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In some places they may close for local holidays. ATMs normally operate 24/7, but may run short of cash on weekends and major holidays.
