Mexico’s Riviera Maya and Ireland are now linked by air for the first time with the inaugural Aer Lingus flight landing at Cancún International Airport on January 6.
The new nonstop service between Dublin and Cancún marks a historic moment, being the only regular flight connecting Ireland to a destination in Latin America. The launch coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Ireland.

The route will operate seasonally, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until April 29. It is flown using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, carrying over 300 passengers per flight.
