General public ticket sales are now open for LUDŌ, Cirque du Soleil’s innovative new resident production, set to debut December 12 at VidantaWorld in Nuevo Vallarta.
Described as a groundbreaking, water-themed, multi-sensory journey, LUDŌ blends aquatic acrobatics, fantastical storytelling, stunning visual effects and live music, according to a company press release. “Housed in a state-of-the-art custom theater featuring a spectacular 360-degree aquatic stage, the production integrates water as a central narrative element, captivating audiences with mesmerizing visuals, gravity-defying performances, and an unparalleled gourmet dining experience.”
“LUDŌ represents a bold new era for Cirque du Soleil,” said Daniel Lamarre, President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group. “This production showcases what is possible when two visionary brands—Cirque du Soleil and Vidanta—join forces to bring live entertainment to a new global scale.”
This highly anticipated production marks Cirque du Soleil’s second resident show in Mexico, following JOYÀ at Vidanta Riviera Maya. LUDŌ will run year-round, with over 300 performances annually.

The venue is located in the heart of VidantaWorld’s BON Luxury Theme Park, which is set to fully open in the fall of next year. The 150-acre park will feature 23 attractions, 25 restaurants and lounges, 16 retail shops and kiosks, and multiple luxury hotels, including the recently opened BON Park Hotel. (BON is an acronym for Beauty of Nature.)
The new theme park “will not only captivate guests of all ages but also establish itself as one of the most iconic and transformative destinations in the world,” said Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta.
Founded in 1974, Grupo Vidanta also operates luxury destinations in the Riviera Maya and Los Cabos, with a portfolio that includes resorts, golf courses, mega yachts and entertainment experiences.
