The Jalisco Public Finance agency has extended the discount period for payment of the annual car tax (refrendo) for another month.
The five-percent discount will continue through the end of March.
The tax costs 688 pesos for cars and trucks, and 276 pesos for motorcycles. This year’s contribution for the Jalisco Red Cross and Hogar Cabañas is 55 pesos.
Surcharges and fines will be applied as of April 1.
Payments can be made at state tax collection centers (recaudadoras) or on the internet at gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/tenencia.
