Jalisco is one of only six of Mexico’s 32 states to be listed in the green (low-risk) category on the current bimonthly traffic-light monitoring system for epidemiological risk (Semáforo de riesgo epidemiológico).
The state will be on a green light through May 9, meaning that almost no restrictions are in force. The traffic light statuses are based on reports provided by each state regarding current Covid-19 cases, infection trends and hospitalizations.
Other states on green are Chiapas, Campeche, Guanajuato, Coahuila and Veracruz.
