Jalisco this week passed the two million mark for Covid shots administered to residents of the state.
Despite that high number, Jalisco is in 26th place (out of 32 Mexican states) in the rankings for the number of shots given per 100 of population.
Vaccinations for residents of the Guadalajara metropolitan area aged from 40 to 49 begin on Monday, June 21.
