Inhabitants of Temacapulin, Jalisco, hold a press conference in Guadalajara’s Plaza de la Liberación Thursday to urge President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to keep his word not to flood the villages of Acasico, Palmarejo and Temacapulin in order to finish the stalled Zapotillo Dam.
Lopez Obrador and Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro will visit Temacapulin and tour the dam site on Saturday in a bid to find a solution to the controversial project.
