Children’s survey gets under way

Around 412,000 children aged from three to 17 in Jalisco get the chance to express their views in the Consulta Infantil y Juvenil from November 16 and 22.

This nationwide consultation organized annually by the National Electoral Institute (INE) asks young people for their opinions on issues such as caring for the planet and human rights.

The results are delivered to all levels of government to take into consideration when defining public policies, as well as reinforcing the rights of minors, said Héctor Preciado of the INE.

The results are expected by December 17.
