With Covid-19 cases falling to minimal levels over the fall, the Jalisco Health Department (SSJ) has lifted the rule mandating the use of face masks on public transport and in all hospitals and health facilities.
Meanwhile, free Covid-19 vaccines (the Chinese produced Cansino brand) are available to all residents of the state (including foreigners with Curp ID numbers) who have yet to receive an initial inoculation or a booster.
