With the Christmas and New Year’s holidays now on the threshold, many employees of local government entities will taking off for two weeks of vacation time.
Offices of the Instituto Nacional de Migración, including the Chapala branch, will suspend immigration services and procedures from Monday, December 19 until Monday, January 2.
Many employees of the Chapala government go on their break as of Tuesday, December 20, with skeleton crews scheduled to be on duty to provide emergency and other essential services. Full staff will return January 2.
Jocotepec’s City Hall will operate in the same fashion, effective from Friday, December 16 until the first Monday of 2023.
According to the Jalisco Ministry of Education calendar, public and private schools will be on holiday from December 19 until January 9.
