Subdivision security guard killed after noisy party complaint

A private security guard at a gated subdivision in Tlajomulco was shot to death by a partygoer after the official went over to a house in the early hours of Sunday morning to ask the revelers to turn down the volume of the music, the state police reported.

According to his coworkers, the request infuriated one man attending the party so much that he drew a weapon and shot  the 50-year-old guard  several times at close range.  Reports said that the suspect then got into a car and drove off, running over the lifeless body of the guard as he made his escape. No arrests had been made by press time, and investigations continue, the State Prosecutor’s Office (FGE) said.
