The Ballet de Jalisco, this state’s only professional ballet dance troupe, will perform in its most prestigious venue to date next month.
In a special gala commemorating the 200th anniversary of the founding of Jalisco, the troupe will take the stage of the magnificent Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, perhaps the country’s premier performing arts arena.
The dancers will perform choreography from the operas “Walpurgis Night” and “Carmina Burana.” Saturday, June 10, 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com.mx, from 88 to 336 pesos.
