As of Wednesday, confirmed measles cases in Mexico have risen to 5,029, with six new infections reported in the past 24 hours, according to the federal Ministry of Health.
The virus has spread across 25 states and 126 municipalities. Chihuahua remains the hardest-hit state with 4,406 cases, followed by Jalisco with 115 and Michoacán with 105.
