The Sayula Balloon Festival takes over the delightful Jalisco town of Sayula on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, with hot-air balloon flights beginning at 7 a.m. at the Tianguis Esplanade.
The event coincides with the Sayula Carnival (June 22–28), featuring free concerts and entertainment, lucha libre, local culinary treats and World Cup viewing zones.

The Pueblo Magico of Sayula is famous for its cajeta, a thick, caramel-like goat’s or cow’s milk confection that has achieved Guinness World Record status.
Sayula is 74 miles from the Guadalajara Periférico and 83 miles from Chapala (via the Macrolibramiento). Estimated driving time: between 1:30 and 1:45 hours.
