One might think a writers’ conference would be a stodgy affair featuring egg-heads pontificating pie-in-the-sky views.

Spring has a special vibe around Banderas Bay. This time of year, I live in denial, as others speak of the season ending, I dig in my heals, “NO”!

Sometimes living in paradise feels like a fairytale and other times it feels like magic.

Looking out to the bay I’m blessed with awesomeness of the wildlife: whales breaching, turtles bobbing along, bait fish creating art as they buzz about, pelicans diving to catch fish, flying rays and so much more.

Surrounded by art in all its forms is one of the many reasons my love of the area expands day by day.
