Due to pandemic restrictions, the Lake Chapala Shrine Club’s annual Ribfest fundraiser was cancelled this year.
Chapala government officials gathered Thursday, September 2, to cut the ribbon on Ajijic’s new Capilla de Velación, a new space where villagers can hold customary vigils for deceased relatives prior to funeral and burial services.
