Tom Thompson is bringing his well received antiques presentation “The Estate of May de Polignac — A privileged life” to his Guadalajara venue, Galeria Q, October 17-22.
The show had enthusiastic reviews in Ajijic, where it was displayed through October 12. Said Ajijic resident Jim Coolidge: “Ricardo and Tom did a fantastic job in editing this wonderful collection. Museum-like in appearance, pieces were displayed with loving care and generous lighting to create a stunning ambiance. All of the items were incredible in design, depth, and quality. To have it in one household must have been a vision.”
San Juan Cosala resident Carolyn Simpson also was impressed. “I haven’t seen anything this well done and truly museum quality since I left New York City. I invited some friends from Guadalajara to join me opening day.
