Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions

The Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra presents orchestrated music from Pokemon games over the years and other popular songs from the world of Pokemon. The name “Symphonic Evolutions” refers not only to the concert program but also to the constant change in the Pokemon series, which began as a pair of video games for the original Game Boy, and now spans video games, trading card games, animated television shows and movies, comic books and toys.

Canadian Dale Kavanagh is acclaimed as one of the guitar world’s most gifted interpreters.   She is a multiple competition prize winner, has given more than 1,000 recitals in more than 40 countries, and is a regular recitalist and teacher in music festivals throughout Europe, North and South America, and Asia. 

Kavanagh is part of the Amadeus Guitar Duo with German guitarist Thomas Kirchhoff, and has recorded 17 CDs to date.  She held the position of “Musician in Residence” at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia – her alma mater – between 2003-2010.
