February 6: Serenata Napoletaa featuring baritone Omar Garrido and pianist José Alfonso Álvarez. February 13: A musical journey from the Baroque era to the 20th century. Arturo Guerrero (violin) and Jose Laguna (piano) play works by Handel, Beethoven, Manuel M, Ponce, Keisler and Bartók. Steve Hackett

Canadian guitarist Pavlo Simtikidis is the featured artist in the Jalisco Philharmonic’s first  program of 2018,  “Mediterranean Nights.” Known for mixing the folkloric styles of Greek, Spanish and Latin music with pop themes, Pavlo has recorded “gold” selling albums, and been nominated for Juno Awards. His program will include his own compositions, as well as works by Debussy, de Falla and Ravel.
