Ballet de Jalisco
After receiving rave reviews in previous years, the Ballet de Jalisco returns with seven presentations of the ballet “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame,” featuring the music of Rachmaninoff, Tchaikowsky, Wolf-Ferrari, Saint-Säenz, Moniuszko, and Khachaturian. Choreography is by troupe director Dariusz Blajer.

Telecast direct from New York of Verdi’s “Luisa Miller.” Plácido Domingo adds yet another role to his legendary Met career in this rarely performed Verdi gem, a heart-wrenching tragedy of fatherly love. Live from the Met
Telecast direct from New York of “Cendrillon.” Jules Massenet’s sumptuous take on the Cinderella story comes to the Met, with Joyce DiDonato starring in the title role. She is paired with mezzo-soprano Alice Coote in the trouser role of Prince Charming, Kathleen Kim as the Fairy Godmother, and Stephanie Blythe as the imperious Madame de la Haltière. Bertrand de Billy conducts Laurent Pelly’s imaginative storybook production.

The Shen Yun company brings to life 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, dynasties and legends through classical Chinese dance and music in an exhilarating show.
