Musical cabaret, entertainment season lined up at Auditorio

An exciting season of top cabaret and musical entertainment from El Piano Rojo Productions in Puerto Vallarta is planned for November through March at the Auditorio de la Ribera.

At the helm of this new endeavor is cabaret manager and promoter Mark Rome, who has roots in Ajijic and lives here year round. He has overeen entertainment at two Puerto Vallarta cabaret venues for several years and says he will showcase top-notch musicians and acts at reasonable prices at the Auditorio this season.

November 28: Lorena Peral (Married and Looking). Lorena and Ray Jon bring music, comedy, dancing and improv direct from the Las Vegas Strip.

December 19: Paul Fracassi (Walk Like A Man). A choreographed show with dancing girls and the extraordinary voice and entertainment of Paul Francassi presenting Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

January 6: Christine Deaver (ShowGirl). Vaudeville style, outrageous impressions and antics all performed by a classically trained, professional theater actor.

January 27: Kim Kuzma. Vallarta’s top songstress with her band and their consistently sold-out musical show.

February 6: Forever Plaid (The Musical). This hit Broadway musical focuses on a 50’s musical quartet of high school chums dreaming of recording an album when their dream is cut short on their way to a big gig.

February 12: Dwight Blake. The best songs of Motown performed by a man with a voice as good as Barry White, Stevie Wonder or Marvin Gaye and does he ever have the moves.

February 20: Well Strung (Summer Lovin). World-class string players. This is not chamber music. It’s sexy, it’s fun and they are famous.

March 5: Bonnie Kilroe (Country Queens). Incredible impersonations of ten Country Music stars from past to present with live singing, dancing and costumes to die for.

March 19: Rocky Mountain High. Hugely popular show of John Denver’s beloved hits bought to you by Rene Armonda and Paul Alemand and their band.

March 26: Mamas and Papas Tribute Show (California Dreaming). Music from the popular 60’s musical group that will take you down memory lane.
