Brilliant Freddie Mercury impersonator Roy Gómez Cruz returns to the Lake Chapala Society (LCS) Concert in the Park series Wednesday, December 1, for a double-header appearance tied in to World Aids Day.
The back-to-back show schedule starts at 3:30 p.m. with a live performance of Guadalajara’s Queen Tribute Band featuring Gómez as lead singer. It will be followed at 6 p.m. by his own biographical spectacle, titled ¨I Want it All: The Freddie Mercury Story.¨
Audiences will enjoy the powerful vocals and incomparable impersonation of the worldwide rock icon that Gomez brings to the stage. The early show will be a special musical tribute to Mercury. Next up, the Freddie Mercury Story offers a powerful and emotional journey through the legendary singer’s hit songs and life events. A beefed-up version of the show Gomez staged at LCS last July, it includes nine costume changes, dancers, new videos and dazzling special effects. It will be complemented by an AIDS Day commemoration ceremony raising the names of loved ones who have passed into the skies above.
