Abstract art draws on the calming touch of Reiki

Facing each day with deep gratitude, tangible strength and a healthy dose of love for the people and places that surround you is the ideal way to manifest what makes you happy, peaceful and productive.

pg21aSteven “Stevieji” Foreman has spent decades welcoming energy into his home, business and especially his art.

Fifteen years into his career as a Toronto dentist, Foreman discovered Reiki and, after experiencing its healing properties, knew he had to incorporate it into his practice. He is a Level Two Reiki master and trained his nurses and reception staff to be practitioners themselves.

Imagine the shift in tension at a dental office when the entire staff is not only focused on your medical procedure, but on ensuring that your emotional and physical wellbeing is an integral part of the appointment.

Sharing positive energy with patients to help their comfort level dissipates the trauma associated with sitting in  a dental chair, he says.

Foreman says that introducing the calming touch of Reiki into the activities of his daily life changed everything for him.

Being a naturally creative and curious person, he started dabbling in art. Stained glass was his first adventure and his approach was abstract. He says the freedom and mystery of the abstract is what drove him on. There were no lighthouses or garden scenes for Foreman ... he was all about the layers of color and the way they danced on the glass.
