Showstoppers is back and they are ready to entertain you!
It has been two and a half years and the Los Cantantes del Lago performers have been preparing for months to bring you this lively cabaret performance. Showstoppers is a series of concerts with numbers that will whisk you away to your favorite films, musicals and classic songs from the soundtrack of your life.
Los Cantantes del Lago had its first performances in the late nineties and is known for its annual Christmas and Spring Shows. The group has been fortunate to have many talented members as part of the ensemble. As it happens here, members have come and gone, providing opportunities for new singers to take part and bring their talents to the community. However, one original member, Jayme Littlejohn, is still an active member of the group and one of its biggest supporters. Tim Welch became involved as the director in 2001 and has worked tirelessly to grow the program to its current status as a staple within the arts scene at Lakeside.
