Bare Stage Theatre's “The Cemetery Club” by Ivan Menchell is a delightful theatrical gem that overflows with sharp wit, relatable characters and poignant moments.
The play follows Ida, Lucille and Doris, three lifelong friends and members of an unofficial “cemetery club” who meet monthly to visit their husbands’ graves. When the gentle widower Sam enters their lives, old routines are upended and loyalties are tested as the women must decide whether moving forward means leaving the past behind. Featuring razor-sharp Jewish humor, unforgettable one-liners, and moments that will bring both tears and laughter, “The Cemetery Club” is a powerful testament to friendship, resilience, and the enduring strength of love.
Bernadette Jones directs a seasoned cast.

Show dates are different than the Bare Stage’s usual last full weekend of the month. “The Cemetery Club” can be seen on Friday, January 30, Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1. All shows are at 4 p.m. Tickets are 200 pesos on Friday and 300 pesos on Saturday and Sunday.
