Piano recital

MarakuJazz, with Emilio Casillas on base, Joel Aguilar on guitar and Emilio Huerta on percussion, gives a free piano concert Sunday, June 4, 12:30 p.m. at the Centro Cultural Gonzalez Gallo in Chapala. Taking jazz as the main theme, this group explores and fuses songs and themes that are part of both the heritage that this music has left us, as well as the most current popular culture, including bolero and funk. They are a band with a more “acoustic” format, since they use percussion instead of drums, thus achieving a very intimate, warm and pleasant sound, with all the flavor and power of jazz.
