LLT extends season
Lakeside Community Theatre (LLT) has extended its 60th season and introduced a new, reduced subscription option to accommodate Canadian and “snowbird” subscribers.
This season, LLT has added a sixth production, starting with a second musical, “The World Goes Round,” which opens on Friday, September 27.
“We are really excited about our extra show,” said LLT President Collette Clavadestcher. “However, we realized that the longer season created a dilemma for some of our subscribers who wouldn’t be in town for all of our productions. We wanted to continue to meet their needs.”
As a result, there are now two season ticket subscription options. The first is a full-season pass that includes all six shows for 2,200 pesos (a savings of 400 pesos compared to individual ticket prices) and allows patrons to select the same day, time, and seats for all performances. “Some of our most loyal subscribers always purchase front-and-center seats for every opening or closing night,” Clavadestcher explained.
For Canadians and other snowbirds who may not be able to attend the first and last shows of the season, there is now a “snowbird season ticket” option for the middle four shows. These tickets will be sold at regular prices (400 pesos for the three regular plays and 500 pesos for the musical) but will allow subscribers to reserve their preferred seats for all four performances.
Tickets for individual shows will go on sale on Saturday, September 1.
