Lakeside Little Theatre’s 61st season is off to a rousing start! “Menopause, The Musical” played from October 3 to 12 with a cast of eight talented women. We could not have asked for a funnier or more entertaining start to the season.
Monday, October 27, 4 p.m., Lakeside Little Theatre will inaugurate its 2025-26 opera season with a screening of New York’s Metropolitan Opera’s acclaimed production of Vincenzo Bellini’s “La Sonnambula.”
A special evening of blues and fine dining is set for Friday, October 17, as the Escarabajo Blues Band brings a heartfelt tribute to Chicago blues legends to Casa del Sol Inn in Ajijic. The BRAVO! Theatre’s 2025/26 Comedy Series kicks off with the sharp wit and subtle brilliance of award-winning U.S. comedian Wendy Liebman, who will be performing three shows this October.

A collection of works by artist 
Noris Binet will be showcased in an exhibition opening Saturday, October 16, at the Centro Cultural González Gallo, Chapala’s former railway station.
In her first solo show in Mexico, Binet will present paintings, poetry, drawings, sculptures and installations under the title “Recovering the Sacred Feminine,” conceived as a symbolic journey into the inner world.
