The Bravo Theatre’s 10 Minute Play Festival, Second Edition, showcased a magnificent collection of eight plays covering the spectrum from silly to poignant. Wonderful acting, simple but delightful staging, and the best small theatre in the area means something for everyone at this Festival. Lakeside’s vibrant art scene takes a significant step forward as Artists of Lake Chapala (ALC) announces a new location for its highly anticipated Art Market.

Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) will open its 61st season with the hilarious production “Menopause: The Musical,” on Friday, October 3.

Brought to life later this month by a talented cast at Bare Stage Theatre, Murray Schisgal’s “Luv” is a comic powerhouse, outrageous, sharp and irresistibly funny from start to finish. 

A year after the exterior walls of Escuela Primaria Cuauhtémoc in San Antonio Tlayacapan were transformed into a giant canvas by a collective of mural artists, the completed works in diverse media were officially inaugurated on Saturday, September 6, before a large audience. ¡Misión cumplida!

Edward Martin, an Ohio native and recent transplant to Lakeside from Albuquerque, New Mexico, has been a mixed-media artist for more than 40 years. Over the decades, his creative journey has taken him across the United States, with works featured in magazines, galleries, exhibitions and collaborations with fashion and interior designers.
