Gringo Hunters: cross-border law and order operators

Okay, this column is a warning.

I’d read about this storyline two years ago, and now it’s time to leak this vital information to all our readers who are suspected felons.

According to the Washington Post, dozens of Americans are on the lam in Mexico, slipping into northern Mexico on a daily basis. They include fugitives on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list, who lay low with a new name and an “Amo México” tattoo.

You know who you are. Be alerted, people are after you.

In 2022, one small unit of state police emerged — ten men and two women — were assigned to find and arrest these wayward suspects. Officially, this specialized unit was called the International Liaison Unit. But most call them Gringo Hunters.
