Zoo deal

In a special deal, children aged between 3 and 11 will pay a one-peso entry fee to the Guadalajara Zoo on Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23.  This includes entry to Monkeyland, Interactive Museum, Veterinary Ranch, Selva Tropical, Australian Villa, Amazonia and the bird and reptile shows in the auditorium.

One interesting resident of the zoo that is currently attracting much attention, say zoo officials, is Albert the tiger.  Now two years old, he eats about 20  kilograms of meat (beef, chicken, horse) a week, and munches on bones to keep his teeth healthy. You can watch Albert being fed on weekends at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
