The American Society’s David Ruiz celebrated his 70th birthday with his wife Maria del Carmen Torres and about 100 friends and family Saturday, February 23.
At the same time, he inaugurated his new Tequila Enterprises offices and blending and bottling plant at the Guadalajara Park business center on Avenida Lazaro Cardenas.
Festive tables shared the plant floor with five large stainless steel tanks, a couple dozen oak barrels and a few thousand tequila bottles ready to be filled. A DJ kept bodies moving on the dance floor after a sumptuous taquiza midday meal.
