The English Book Club will discuss “Beloved” by Toni Morrison (1987) at its meeitng on Thursday, February 20, 10 a.m. at the American Society (Amsoc).
The novel examines the destructive legacy of slavery as it chronicles the life of a black woman named Sethe.
