After some technical wrinkles were ironed out early this month, the Chapala government’s online system for consulting and paying the impuesto predial (property tax) is now up and running.
Although users can access the system through the municipality’s website, the direct URL is https://pagos-chapala.gob.mx. After closing the bienvenidos (welcome) slide, viewers will find five columns running left to right under the abbreviated titles Consulta tu Aduedo (consult your debt); Paga tu Cuenta (pay your account); Imprime tu Recibo (print your receipt); Próxmamente, referring to a yet to be activated method to pay at Oxxo stores; and Generar Referencia BBVA to pay through that bank.
