ANAVETS Mexico Unit #19 (Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Association) hosted the 2021 Annual Lake Chapala Military Ball on May 13.
The event was attended by members of the Unit, the American Legion Posts 7 and 9, Canadian Legion members from branches in Canada and the United States, the Shrine Legion of Honor, and the Chapala Police Force.
ANAVETS Unit #19 President Rob Bosch thanked everyone who made this year’s ball such a huge success, singling out Piper Tom Yule, Eles Catering (who provided a phenomenal five-course meal) and the staff at Mama’s Musical Bar.
Bosch reported that the next military event will be on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, hosted by the American Legion Post 7. The ceremony is at 1 p.m., the social hour is at 2 p.m., with the meal being served at 3 p.m. For tickets, contact the Legion.
