Weekly Worship - October 15, 2022

Lake Chapala Baptist

Last Sunday was interim Pastor David App’s last sermon at LCBC before he and his wife Sandy returned home. They will be missed and abundantly prayed over. “You are our kind of folks!” he told us. “Citizens of heaven? So we are!”

The message this time was all about faith. “Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author of faith. God is the original cause of everything, and the bottom line is simply to believe that. God is the I Am. God said it, I believe it, that settles it.

“We are part of a vast family of believers. We stand alongside them all, from Abraham to all the martyrs to today’s faithful saints… one body that comprises the people of God, citizens of heaven whose entire reason for being is to glorify God through their faith.

“The people of God,” he said, “That’s US! And we are in a marathon race. Let’s make up our minds to never give up, to endure faithfully unto victory!”

Share memorable weekly sermons, uplifting music, and an ongoing thirst for true wisdom at 10:45 a.m. at the Lake Chapala Baptist Church. Santa Margarita 147, Riberas del Pilar.
